Ondas (ONDS) Goes Deeper Into the Weapon System Acquiring Gate Technologies and Bron Technologies
Ondas (ONDS) continues to expand its defense platform—this time by acquiring GATE Technologies and Bron Technologies.
The deal adds electronic safe-and-arm and fuzing technology.
In simple terms, these are the electronic systems that help ensure a munition remains safe during storage, transportation and launch—and arms or initiates only when the appropriate conditions are met.
GATE's technology is already integrated into 90+ weapon systems, including UAVs, loitering munitions, missiles and rockets.

Up to $185M additional performance-based earn-outs
GATE expected to generate ~$65M revenue in 2026
Management projects ~$180M revenue by 2028
Ondas expects $130M+ of cumulative adjusted EBITDA from the acquired businesses through 2028
ONDS is assembling more of the technology stack behind autonomous and precision-strike systems.
Autonomous platforms → mission systems → communications → propulsion → precision strike → now electronic arming & fuzing
GATE also brings something difficult to replicate quickly: technology already designed and qualified into dozens of weapons programs, while Bron adds Poland-based European manufacturing and certification capabilities.
There is a tradeoff.
This is another sizable acquisition for a company that has already been extremely active in M&A. Integration, capital allocation and delivering on management's aggressive growth expectations remain important things to watch.
But strategically, the direction is becoming clearer:
Ondas isn't trying to be just a drone company. It's trying to own more of the technology inside the autonomous weapons ecosystem.
